• 2024-2025 Ascend Foundation Scholarship in Partnership with AICPA

    Scholarship Application Information

    The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) is proud to partner with Ascend to offer these scholarships to deserving and qualified students.

    AICPA is providing 1 scholarship at $5,000 each.

    Eligibility Requirements

    • Must be a current student
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder
    • Must be an ethnic minority
    • Open to full-time undergraduate and full-time graduate students
    • Exceptions are made if candidate is in an internship this school year
    • 3.5 GPA minimum
    • Major in accounting or an accounting related major

    Membership and Application Requirements

    • Active Ascend Membership (no overdue fees) at time of application
    • Active Student Member of AICPA (free to join) at the time of application
    • Upload supporting documents - resume, transcript
    • Complete online application, including personal essays
    • The intention of this scholarship is to apply the funds towards the CPA exam or preparation materials; Or to assist with undergraduate/graduate accounting fees

    Please make sure that you are eligible for the scholarships you are applying for.  Incomplete and ineligible applicants will not be considered. Preference would be given to those who demonstrate financial need.

    Application Deadline: January 31, 2025 at 11:59pm EST / 8:59pm PST

    Scholarship winners will be announced by end of April 2025
