2025 Singer's Application

The 2025 Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition
• Application deadline Feb 1, 2025 - FEE $30
Fee increases to $60 starting 12:01 AM ET (New York Time) on Feb 2.
• Late application to Feb 15, 2025 - FEE $60
• Application fee is non-refundable.
• Open to singers of all nationalities born on or after January 1, 1985, who are in the early or emerging phases of their careers.
IMPORTANT—PLEASE READ!

Music listings in your repertoire:
• List five (5) arias from the repertoire of oratorio, sacred music, and concerted vocal works. Selections should demonstrate stylistic versatility and submission of works representing a variety of composers, languages, and historical periods is encouraged.

File submissons:
Please have these files prepared and ready BEFORE you submit your application:
• Headshot (high resolution)
• Performance resumé
• Proof of age (scan of government-issued ID)
• Two (2) oratorio aria audio recordings of yourself (mp3 only) These should be either from a live performance or an unedited studio recording.
One recording MUST be in English.
No opera or art song selections will be considered.

Applicants are encouraged to present repertoire that features their strengths and versatility. Any questions about repertoire selection may be directed to Evan Fein at evanfein@osny.org.
