  • Bright Green Future is open to UK residents aged 16 to 19, who are passionate about tackling climate change and making a positive impact. Use this form to apply for the programme running February to April 2025.

    I give Bright Green Future & the Centre for Sustainable Energy permission to store and process my personal data for the purposes of applying for and participating in the Bright Green Future (BGF) programme. This will involve the team contacting me by email or phone to facilitate my participation in the online programme and in-person residential.

    BGF is run by the Centre for Sustainable Energy. Your information is not shared with third parties. You can withdraw your application and ask for us to delete your data at any time by emailing bgf@cse.org.uk.     Residential

    Residential is the final part of the programme. BGF covers costs for students costs (accommodation, travel, food) although students need to arrange their own travel. Please confirm you can make these dates:

    I understand that BGF includes:

    • Four 2-hour online workshops 
    • A personal project
    • Residential from 13th - 17th April 2025

    I understand that if I do not participate fully or respond to communications from the BGF team my place on the programme may be offered to another applicant and I may not graduate from the programme.

    I give the Centre for Sustainable Energy consent to store and process {name}'s personal data for the purposes of applying for entry and facilitating their participation in the Bright Green Future programme. This will involve the Bright Green Future team contacting my young person by email and phone, facilitating their participation in webinars with other students, and a four-night residential.

    I am aware of the Bright Green Future safeguarding policy. I will contact bgf@cse.org.uk to remove my young person's data or application if desired, as per the Centre for Sustainable Energy's privacy policy.

    At Bright Green Future, we want to tackle the current underrepresentation of people of colour in careers with a positive environmental impact. BGF follows a positive action recruitment policy, where protected characteristics may be used as a tie-breaker between candidates of equal merit (such as ethnicity, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality). It is voluntary for you to share your demographic details with us. If you don’t want to share information please just select the option ‘prefer not to say’.
