I acknowledge that I have received training regarding the prevention of harassment and sexual harassment. This training is designed to meet the requirements of the mandatory harassment prevention training standards from the State of New York and the City of New York. It provides an overview of the types of behaviors that can give rise to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, including those based on sex, race, color, national origin, religion, age, and disability. It also discusses the benefits of and strategies for promoting a respectful work environment that is free of all forms of harassment, intimidation, and discrimination. I also acknowledge that I have received Bloomingdale School of Music's prevention policy on harassment and sexual harassment. I agree to abide by the principles that were explained in the training and policy. I understand that if I have questions not addressed in the training or policy or encounter any problems, I can contact my supervisor, the Senior Director of Operations, or the Executive Director.
