Adamah on Campus Environmental Justice Fellowship
The Adamah on Campus Fellowship is a year-long paid program promoting environmental justice initiatives through a Jewish lens with UMBC Hillel. As the largest Jewish environmental organization in the US, Adamah (Hebrew for "ground or soil") supports a variety of initiatives that create immersive experiences, Jewish environmental education, leadership development, and climate action. The Adamah on Campus Fellow would be part of Hillel's newly launched Tikkun Olam Social Action Committee, and help create on-campus programs and educational experiences to promote environmental awareness and sustainability. In addition to mentorship from Hillel staff, the fellow would also receive training and support from the larger regional and national network. While this program operates through a Jewish lens, UMBC students of all backgrounds are welcome to apply. Interested? Contact Lisa Huberman at lhuberm1@umbc.edu
