PAPER CAMPAIGN
We offer the pages of the MJW Paper as exhibition spaces as a response to a growing need for diversity in representation. MJW Paper is open to everyone, not only to those who are able to physically show their work in Munich. We invite Artists, Curators, Collectives, Academies, Galleries and Cultural Institutions across the globe to treat our Paper like an exhibition space. Tell the stories behind your work in the way that fits you, just as you would in a physical space in Munich. We encourage you to stage exhibition environments, create beautiful editorial images, render digital jewels, write fictional stories and more!
Our beautiful printed publication, designed and published by Current Obsession, is delivered directly to the doorsteps of the readers and distributed by Public Knowledge Books at a selected range of locations of culture and consumption worldwide.
The Paper Campaign option will ensure a substantial space inside the MJW Paper: 1 full A2 spread (two A3 pages).
Submitted concepts must feature one or several artists united by a certain theme.*
Total cost of administration and production of the Paper Campaign is €400 excl. VAT
* Page layout suggestions from the participants are welcome, however Current Obsession reserves the right for the final layout decisions for the purposes of cohesion and overall artistic direction.
* If, as a gallery, a brand, or other commercial institution, you would like to submit a pre-designed or a custom page, it will be considered as an Advertorial, and a different fee will apply (email info@munichjewelleryweek.com with inquiries).
* With each Paper Campaign submission we offer one free copy of the MJW Paper, we ask you to cover the shipping costs. If you are interested in this option please select from EXTRAS: ADD EXTRA ✨ PAPER SHIPPING COSTS.
If you would like to receive more than one copy, please email us at info@munichjewelleryweek.com and we will prepare a bulk shipment at a discounted price.
* There is a limited amount of submissions available and spots will be assigned on a first come first served basis.
* This option includes communication of all events via the munichjewelleryweek.com website, and press coverage of the Munich Jewellery Week.
POSTER CAMPAIGN
Individual jewellery artists are invited to submit an image of one piece of jewellery to be featured in a poster created in collaboration with a visual artist or an illustrator. This option ensures a feature of your piece on a printed poster (shipped together with the MJW Paper) and on the MJW website under the Posters category.
The poster will include artist's name, short bio, artist statement and contact information (based on the information you submit in the form below).
Posters will be created in collaboration between Current Obsession and visual artists or illustrators selected via an open call or contacted directly. The idea behind the Poster Campaign is to place jewellery in visually stunning experimental environments, and to create an original interdisciplinary artwork.
For the Poster Campaign you can submit images of ONE piece of jewellery. Images need to be shot in high resolution (a minimum of 1200-628 pixels), on white, light or transparent background.
The piece will most likely be cut out and placed in an environment, therefore the exact dimensions of the image itself are up to you, as long as the piece looks sharp, well-lit, and shot from a direct angle, preferably front view (you could also include variations, side view, top view or a low-angle view).
Total cost of administration and production of the Poster Campaign is €200 excl. VAT
* There is a limited number of spots available, and they will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If the minimum number of participants required for this campaign is not reached, the campaign will be cancelled, and participants will be refunded.
* This option includes communication of all events via the munichjewelleryweek.com website, and press coverage of the Munich Jewellery Week.

LOCAL CAMPAIGN
This option is available to those participants who plan a physical event in Munich and would like to receive a street sign and a spot on our digital MJW Map. We will support physical events in Munich with the following:
Website www.munichjewelleryweek.com:
1. The event will be included in the full programme, listed on the front page;
2. The event will receive a pin pn the digital MJW Map;
3. The event will receive a shareable page with additional images, texts, links, Google Maps hot link that opens the Google Maps app on a mobile device and shows directions, distance, etc.
Street Signs:
Physical events in Munich will be provided with MJW street signs. We will no longer assign numbers to events, instead, to avoid confusion, we will leave it up to the participants – if they'd like to add a number to their event, or leave it blank (we will provide number stickers).
Take a look at our street signs from last year here.
Due to environmental and other concerns (such as the inability to add/change information and respond to the numerous last minute changes made by participants), we plan to focus on developing and improving our digital map and website.
We will NOT be printing a physcial map.
To support the visibility of MJW in the city of Munich, we will continue making street signs, posters, and other brand merchandise to brighten up the streets!
Total cost of administration and production of the Local Campaign is €300 excl. VAT
* Traditionally, we provide an option to artists who are not able to afford a payed submission. This option is financed by the community (this means other participants share the costs, and our team donates our time and work) and offers a pin on the MJW digital map with a title, name of the artist, opening date and address. No images, special events, daily opening times, additional texts, and no street sign will be provided. If you would like to choose this option, please email us with the above-mentioned information at info@munichjewelleryweek.com before the general deadline.
* This campaign might be cancelled if travel restrictions to Germany are enforced and public events such as MJW are cancelled. In this case partial charges will be reimbursed.
* This option includes communication of all events via the munichjewelleryweek.com website, and press coverage of the Munich Jewellery Week.
DIGITAL CAMPAIGN
In the spirit of renewal and embracing the digital age, we are excited to launch a new Digital Campaign! This initiative is designed to expand the visibility of participants globally through our digital platforms, including the MJW website and social media. Artists, designers, galleries, and institutions are invited to submit digital content showcasing their work, events, or stories.
The Digital Campaign will feature:
1. A promotional campaign on MJW’s social media channels, ensuring broad exposure to an international audience.
2. The opportunity to share videos, virtual exhibitions, and behind-the-scenes content with a global community of jewellery enthusiasts and professionals.
3. Your submitted material will be shared across several social media posts throughout an extended period, creating a long-lasting promotional effect, rather than being posted all at once.
4. There will be a maximum of 30 images shared across three posts and a story, with a maximum length of 180 seconds for a pre-recorded video, which will also be saved as a highlighted story.
This campaign is ideal for those who wish to participate remotely or enhance the visibility of their physical events with a strong digital presence. Whether you're showcasing one piece or an entire collection, the Digital Campaign offers flexibility and global reach.
Total cost of administration and production of the Digital Campaign: €300 excl. VAT
* This option includes communication of all events via the munichjewelleryweek.com website, and press coverage of the Munich Jewellery Week.
MJW DIGITAL SPOTLIGHT
As part of our commitment to enhancing the digital experience, we are excited to offer the MJW Digital Spotlight package. This package includes a personal IG Live interview, where a member of the MJW team will visit your exhibition at a scheduled time during or before the festival. Once you have submitted your interest, you will be contacted to arrange the appointment.
The Live session will feature an in-depth interview and a digital tour of your exhibition, allowing viewers to gain insights into your work and creative process. This dynamic presentation will not only promote your exhibition but also provide you with valuable exposure to a global audience, showcasing your work to jewellery enthusiasts and professionals worldwide. The session will be saved and posted on the @munichjewelleryweek IG feed, extending your reach beyond the festival itself. From the edited Live session, several posts and reels will be created and shared, offering an engaging and lasting influence within the jewellery community.
This package is exclusively available for Local Campaign participants.
