South Carolina’s Schools in Movement Spotlight
Share how your school is supporting students’ health from head to heart through physical activity. The South Carolina Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance(SCAHPERD), in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Education and the South Carolina Department of Public Health, is collecting school success stories statewide. Please complete the following form to share how your school has joined the movement to prioritize physical activity for students’ health. Completing this form might make your school eligible for a Physical Adeptness & Literacy Model Institution (PALMI) Award – the South Carolina recognition of schools that excel at cultivating environments where students learn and thrive through movement. While responses are not required, the more information shared, the more likely the school will be recognized. Deadline: This is a rolling application which means there is no deadline.
