Arts for Health Community Trust is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Board of Trustees and help us achieve our mission. As a Trustee, you will play a key role in guiding the Trust’s future, ensuring good governance, and supporting the growth of our services.
Our mission is to help people manage unwellness through creative arts and community connection. We offer practical and inclusive services, particularly for disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Hamilton.
The Board of Trustees oversees governance, financial stability, and ensures the organisation stays true to its values. Trustees share their knowledge and expertise to help guide decisions. The Board meets once a month on the second Wednesday evening, with online meetings in winter and in-person meetings during summer, and a break over the Christmas period in December and January. Trustees will need access to a computer and the internet to review meeting minutes and participate effectively. The time committment is 5-10 hours per month.

If you are interested in joining, please submit an application along with a CV (no more than two pages). Your application will be reviewed by the Trustees, and successful candidates will be invited to attend the next Board meeting for introductions. After the meeting, the Board will notify you as to whether your application has been successful or not.
Successful applicants will be required to complete and pass a Police Check, provide personal details for administration requirements and as a Bank guarantor, and complete a Conflict of Interest document. Your details will also be recored on the Charities Commission website as a Trustee.
