  • A NOTE ABOUT PAY

    We are excited to welcome you to our auditions for the upcoming season for Actors Theatre at the ARTfactory in Manassas, Virginia.  As a new company, we are thrilled to be taking this significant step in our journey by offering paid opportunities to our talented actors, while continuing to compensate the members of each production’s dedicated staff.

     The commitment to honoring the work of our performers is still at the heart of our mission, and now we are pleased to be able to offer compensation for such dedication. We understand that the stipend we currently offer as a fledgling professional company is modest and we hope to be able to offer more with each season.  We believe that every artist deserves to be compensated for their dedication, creativity, and passion.  

     At this time, the stipend is $150 per production.

    As we transition from community theater to a supportive and more equitable system, we are focused on creating an inclusive environment where all voices and talents are valued.

    • Auditions will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 28 and 29 at the ARTfactory's Wind River Theatre located at 9419 Battle Street, Manassas, VA 20110 by appointment only. Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled audition time slot.
