KYW25 Male Application

I acknowledge that I am completing a MALE camper application form. (Please note: Submitting the incorrect gender form will NOT secure your child a place on camp).

Non-refundable deposit: €45 (included in first payment).

Key Dates;

1. 30th of April: Camp fees must be paid in FULL (as a result each payment option will have an expiry date as to when you can sign up for them).
2. 17th of May: Cancellations made after this date are subject to an increased non-refundable deposit of €85.
3. 31st of May: Any cancellations made after this date will not be entitled to any refund.

The KYW strictly adheres to the refund policy above.

• Monthly payments will be automatically deducted from your account on the same day each month as to when you first signed up.
• Should any monthly payment fail, you will be sent an email and given 10 days notice to complete the payment.
• If payment is not received after the 10 days, your place will be cancelled and your money will be refunded to your account (excluding the €45 deposit).

Any child that breaches the rules of the KYW and that are asked to leave camp, will NOT be entitled to a refund.

The KYW reserves the right to reject or remove any application and our decision is final.

• You must complete ALL stages of the form including payment to secure your place for KYW 2025.
• If you complete an incorrect gender form, your place is not secured for KYW25.
• There is no ‘auto save’ button so remember to complete your application in one go.
• Spaces 'available' only update when a form is completed, you are not guaranteed a space until the form is fully complete (Section 9).
• Please include a valid email and phone number on the parents information section (section 2) of the application form.
• Multiple bookings are not possible on one form, we require individual entries for each camper.

Any child that breaches the rules of the KYW and is asked to leave camp, will NOT be entitled to a refund.

1. Bullying of any format will not be tolerated this includes: Intimidation, including physical, emotional, harassment or any threatening or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated;
2. Knives and/or any such implements are forbidden on camp;
3. Alcohol / drugs are not allowed on camp;
4. Smoking/Vaping or any nicotine supplements are strictly forbidden on camp for anyone under the age of 18; Campers found with any such products on the camp will be asked to leave the camp.
5. Campers are not allowed off camp without the presence of a leader;
6. No camper is allowed in a bunkhouse other than their own;
7. No boys are allowed in a girl’s bunkhouse; no girls are allowed in a boy’s bunkhouse; This includes between same sex bunkhouses Boys in Alberts are not permitted to enter Boys in Thomas’s etc. 
8. Vandalism will not be tolerated;
9. Stealing will not be tolerated;
10. Campers must not use bad language, or be verbally abusive to leaders/other campers;
11. Campers must show respect to and cooperate with the members of the leader team, Camp Manager/Director and staff;
12. The KYW cannot be held liable for any personal items that are lost, stolen or damaged on camp;
13. No bullying or violence of any form is allowed on camp;
14. Any camper who requires the use of prescribed medication must inform the Senior Leader and/or the Camp Medical Officer and it must be clearly stated on their medical form.

Any reports made to the Senior Leader where one or more of these rules have been broken by a camper, may result in the removal of that camper from the KYW programme.

The Knockadoon Youth Week (“the KYW”) adheres to the highest standards and best practice guidelines in relation to multimedia content. The KYW have strict policies in relation to the use of the internet; electronic communication; use of mobile phones and the use of imagery in an appropriate manner.

By completing this form, you hereby give the KYW permission to use any still and/or moving image being video footage, photographs and/or frames and/or audio footage depicting the child/children named previously, taken by a voluntary leader on behalf of the KYW at Knockadoon Camp. Please let us know if you wish for your child/children to be excluded from such activity.

I certify that I am a legal guardian of the above named child, and that I give permission for my child/children to sign up for attendance to Knockadoon Youth Week for the dates specified above. I also acknowledge that my child/children and I have both read the camp rules and multimedia policy, I accept them and my child agrees to abide by them. In the event of my child/children breaking any of these rules, I acknowledge that expulsion from the camp is a possibility and that in the event it may be necessary for me to collect my child/children from camp.

YOU ARE NOT GUARANTEED A SPACE UNTIL PAYMENT IS COMPLETE. If 'None' appears beside your preferred week this means that there are no available spaces remaining. If you receive 'Stock Error' after attempting payment this may indicate that there are no remaining spaces left.
