    Before we begin, Big kudos to you for participating! We acknowledge that it takes commitment.

    Knowing about the state of your body is your first helpful step to uncover any silent illnesses or potential health problems. Your future is IMPORTANT.


    Here is what the Health Screening will consist of:

    1. Physical Examination

    Basic physical anthropometry:
    - Height, weight, BMI, fat percentage, waist circumference

    Clinical measurements:
    - Blood pressure, heart rate

    2. Blood and urine tests

    Cholesterol profile:
    Good cholesterol (HDL), Bad cholesterol (LDL), Triglycerides (fatty acids)

    Blood glucose level:
    Fasting glucose

    Kidney profile:
    Creatinine, Urea, Sodium, Potassium, Chloride

    Kidney (urine) profile:
    Urine formed elements and microscopy
    Urine microalbumin, creatinine, microalbumin/creatinine ratio

    Liver profile:
    Total Bilirubin, Liver enzymes ALT, AST, GGT, ALP; Liver proteins Albumin, Globulin

    Full Blood Count:
    Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells, Platelet Count

    Body inflammation:
    ESR

    Gout:
    Uric acid

    Bone:
    Calcium & Phosphate

    Hepatitis B Surface Antigen with Antibody 

    With 2 additional tests of choice:
    - Testosterone (For men who feel a lack of energy, or have problems in the bedroom)
    - CRP (Inflammatory marker linked to cardiovascular risk)
    - Vitamin B12 (Component of cellular functioning and nerve health)
    - Folic Acid (Component of red blood cells; essential for synthesis of DNA)
    - HbA1c (Indication of average sugar level the last 2-3 months)
    - T4 + TSH (Thyroid Panel)
    - Vitamin D
    (Vital component of bone health and immunity; at an additional cost of $20 payable on health screening day)

     Alpha Fetoprotein (Screen for liver, testes, ovarian cancers)
    - Carcinoembryonic Antigen (Screen for colorectal cancer) 
    - CA 19.9 (Screen for liver or pancreas cancer)
    - CA 125 (Females only; screen for ovarian cancer)
    - Prostate Specific Antigen
    (Males only; screen for prostate cancer)
    - EBV EA (Screen for nose/ throat cancer)

    Each participant will get an individual report with actionable insights vetted by our doctors at MD Family Clinic. If required, a follow up appointment can be arranged.
