      Electronic Gate Records is an independent Dutch / Welsh Trance label founded in 2012. It didn't take long before 'Electronic Gate records' was born as a sub label. Providing a demand for even wider spectrum's of today's EDM music. The main goal of these labels are to collaborate with artists who enjoy making Trance Music with passion and emotion. In 2014 founder Rob Meloni and Matt Fernando Rodriguez Read teamed up to take it to the next level, 'The-Trance.Community' was born, providing the best of two worlds.

      I’m Eric, a passionate DJ for years. I started Djing with the age of 12 on my father’s old booth. It was the legendary Pioneer DJ CDJ 500II, without having any support by digital systems. This was where I learned the art of Djing. A few years later, I started playing with Software, developing a creative style of playing music. Nowadays, I’m playing on different setups and with different styles, making music the creative way.

      With time, I started playing different genres. Started with Trance and House, I’m playing everything from Black, Rap and Hip-Hop to Deep House, Future House, Techno, Festival, EDM and even Trance, Psytrance and a little bit of Hands-Up. I love the music I play, so there are many remixes included in my style of mixing. Later on, I started to produce, too. Trying different styles, I’m making remixes and originals.

      ARTIST NAME: "RT" (Short for Rik Tights)
      STARTED PRODUCING: 2008

      RT: real name, Matthew Fernando Rodriguez Read or Rik Tights when DJing..

      Trance producer, DJ and until recently, Formally C.E.O. of Electronic Gate Records, before leaving to join Marine Recordings

      Before he started DJing (during what he terms the "clubbing days"), He spent most the night in the corridors of clubs as he couldn't decide on which room to dance in (Trance or House). After the clubbing ended he started playing about with a bit of remixing / production on his PC in his spare time.

      His DAW of choice was Ableton (version 5 at the time now its one of the leading bits of software used in the music buisness.)

      This finally lead onto full time production (after a few training courses in technique and mastering) which lead him to meet Rob Meloni the original owner of Trance4Live Records in Holland. After getting to know each other well, Rob ofered me the C.E.O. job of Electronic Gate Records...

      After signing many up and coming new artists, as well as releasing two compilation albums (110 Not Out The Very Best Of Electronic Gate Records & Electronic Gate Records Volume 1 (Mixed By DJ Pusher)), Matt unfortunately fell out with previous label owner Rob... This has led to him signing with up and coming label Marine Records.
