Hereinafter referred to as "Prospect" or “Prospects”
AND Sunrise Resettlement Consulting Inc. (ImmigrateNow.ca) (through its RCIC(s)/authorized signatory,
having its office and principal place of business at 501-11 Eighth Street, New
Westminster, BC, V3M 3N7, Canada and 2125 – 1055 W Georgia Street, Vancouver,
BC, V6E 4A6.
Hereinafter referred to as the "Consultant"
I am obliged to pay a fee of $150 CAD + tax (If applicable) for up to 1 hour for the Initial Consultation for the purpose of discussing my Canadian Immigration related questions.
It is agreed that if the Prospect retains the consultant (within 7 business days of the initial consultation) by signing a Service Agreement AND pay the Consultant’s professional fee for the Service Agreement, the entire initial consultation fee of $150 (tax not included) will be credited as a discount towards the quoted Professional Fee.
A fee for each option, based on the facts presented, will be quoted during or after the consultation meeting, provided that all relevant documents have been presented by the prospect.
The consultant generally bills on a flat fee basis, although some cases are billed at an hourly rate. The fees in each case reflect the individual facts presented, the urgency of the situation, and the anticipated time and skill required. Payment terms will be discussed during/after the consultation.
The information provided to the consultant and during the consultation is to obtain a consultation and is not intended to establish a consultant-client relationship until an individual seeking representation has executed a written Service Agreement entering into such a relationship with the Consultant.
Initial Consultations are held either telephone, Zoom/Google Meet, email or in person.
Prospect(s) expressly understand that the ambit/scope of the initial consultation is for them to provide the Consultant with sufficient information to allow the Consultant to assess eligibility. Prospect understands that the paid consultation is generally intended to do an eligibility assessment only and does not include the following:
1. Guidance on which forms to fill for particular visa class
2. Helping with DIY (Do it yourself) applications regardless of type of query etc
3. Discuss friends and/or family cases OR discuss hypothetical situations that do not apply to the
Prospect currently.
The Consultation fee charged is non-refundable under any circumstance except if the Consultant for any reason would like to cancel the consultation at any point e.g. If the Prospect’s main question is outside the scope of the initial consultation.
The Initial Consultation Agreement is only complete and binding when all parties have signed and the full payment has been received.
The non-refundable Fee is earned by the Consultant upon initiating scheduled contact. The Prospect understands that the Consultant after gathering information and facts about their situation, may recommend that it is not advisable to lodge a particular visa/immigration application, and may also choose not to represent Prospect based on that assessment. The spirit and purpose of the Initial Consultation is for the
Consultant to devote up to 1 hour to collect information and then provide an assessment to the Prospect and any fee that may be applicable, if the Consultant chooses to represent the Prospect and if the Prospect also wishes to retain the Consultant.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws in effect in the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
