Our first rally of 2027 will be held at Topaz Lake in late April... (we're hoping for warmer weather then the last time we were there!)
This is a REMINDER to make your reservation for Topaz Lake on October 22, 2026 for the April 22, 2027 rally start date (6 months to the day ahead). This is for the Topaz Lake Recreation Area on the north side of the lake. There are water and electric or dry camping site options at this park, along with a dump station. The website is a Douglas County Park and their reservations website is: Topaz Lake Campground Reservations. The phone number for assistance is (775) 782-9835 Monday - Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM.
At this time, we do not yet have a host for this rally, so we'll collect the Rally Fee at this time, and once plans are made, we'll collect for meals if applicable.
Following the Topaz Lake 3 night rally (4/22 - 4/25/27) Ellen and Kim Sterrett are hosting a mini-caravan. Of course this is totally optional. If you only want to go to Bishop, or would like to travel onto Beatty, or not... that's OK.
Planned stops for the mini-caravan after the rally are:
Bishop - Make your own reservation at whatever campground or RV Park you prefer. This is a 2 night stop, but you can stay longer or shorter if you prefer. We'll have dinner or happy hour planned for one night of the stay in Bishop (TBD). Some of the Elks members are staying at the Bishop Elks on West Line, some are planning to stay at other campgrounds in the area. Your choice, whatever is comfortable for you.
Beatty, NV - We have 7 full hookup sites set aside for us at the Death Valley RV Park from 4/27 - 5/1 (4 nights). Call them and tell them you're with the Lake Tahoe Airstream Club to reserve one of our sites. Sites were reserved by Ellen Sterrett. They don't take checks, some discounts are available https://www.deathvalleyrvpark.com/
Spring Valley State Park - May 1 - 4 (3 nights). This is a Nevada State Park outside the small town of Pioche, NV. We plan to stay in the Horsethief Gulch Lower Loop campground. Book your own reservation online. If you're a Nevada resident, there are discount passes available. You'll need to obtain the pass before you make your reservation to get the discount.
