    If you have navigated here from a recall notice and/or have received an email due to being identified as a purchaser of one or more of the below listed items, please read this recall notice in full and complete the form. 

    • A2 Light Panel Silver Border - (329-A2LED / LI570-A2)
    • A3 Light Panel - Black Border (V1&V2) - (329-A3LEDBLK / 329-A3LEDBLK-02)
    • A3 Light Panel - Silver Border - (329-A3LED / LI570-A3)
    • Round Light Panel - Silver Border - (329-RLED / LI571)

    The LED light panels have been sold via Educating Kids (www.educatingkids.com.au) between 2013 and September 2024 and via Zart Art (www.zartart.com.au) between October 2020 and September 2024. 

    Educating Kids is issuing a voluntary recall of the associated power supply to these items:

  • Why is the product recalled?

    Some of the LED light panels listed in this recall have been supplied with a power adaptor which is not compliant with mandatory Australian safety standards.

    Non-compliant power adaptors can be identified by their non-insulated pins on the plug, as illustrated below.

    What hazard has been identified?

    The non-insulated pins of the power adaptor can cause serious injury due to electrical shock or fire, when a metal object (such as a knife or metal sheet) comes in contact with a non-insulated plug pin when it is partially removed from a socket.

     

    What do I need to do?

    1. Remove the plug of the light panel from the socket.
    2. Review if the plug has insulated pins.
    3. If the power adaptor does not have insulated pins, immediately stop use and cut the cord of the power adaptor.
    4. Dispose of the non-compliant power adaptor via electronic waste recycling where possible.
    5. Complete this form to request a compliant replacement power adaptor. Please also complete the form if you have a compliant adaptor or if you no longer have the light panel and/or adaptor in your possession.
