    The submission form captures information about your lean training programme that demonstrates its meets LCS assessment criteria and that you have a technically robust, well managed, appropriately resourced and LCS aligned training. Please use guides on main forms page.
  • 1. Organisation & Background

    The entity to be accredited. This could be the organisation itself or a specific department or function, such as a training academy or centre of excellence.
  • Note that with STANDARD accreditation the organisation is responsible for all training aspects, whereas with SME accreditation course testing is undertaken centrally by the LCS.

  • Note that this could just be one level initially, with others added at a later date.

  • 1.11 Estimated number of certificates to be issued

  • 2. Course Information

    For each face-to-face course you deliver, list its title, aims, learning outcomes, topics covered, LCS level alignment, learning hours and assessment methods. Course elements delivered online can be recorded in Section 5, E Learning.

  • COURSE 1

  • 2.2 Course Assessment

  • Learners need to demonstrate both knowledge and practical capability for LCS levels 1b, 1c, 2a, 2b, while just the knowledge element is required for Level 1a.

    Demonstrating knowledge is achieved typically through a multiple choice test, with test questions relating to the course learning outcomes. There are, of course, several ways to demonstrate practical capability.

  • 2.3 Assessing practical competence

  • Describe below in section 2.3.1 how the practical element of the assessment will be managed, including the process that the participant will follow after the course has been completed. the practical evidence can be in a variety of formats (indicate those used in section 2.3.2 below). 

    The learner should have played a meaningful role in the activity, usually as part of a team with a specific role or on an individual basis. The evidence should be endorsed by an appropriate manager/stakeholder to signify it is an accurate account of what happened.

    Indicate the teaching styles used. 
  • 4.4 Complete an LCS Delivery Resource Capability Assessment 

    This indicates the capability of the teaching staff across the key LCS knowledge levels and should be produced through self-assessment. In accordance with GDPR you should ensure that those included in the Assessment have consented to this information and their personal biographical information being passed to the LCS.
