Thank you for your interest in becoming an ECA Member.

Before you get started with your application let's check that you are eligible for ECA membership.
Is your business located in England, Wales or Northern Ireland?*

ECA is only able to accept applications from businesses with an office in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, whilst our sister organisation SELECT www.select.org.uk accepts members based in Scotland.

You are able to access the public area of our website www.eca.co.uk so may find useful information for your business, but unfortunately you would not be eligible for ECA Membership.

If you do have a registered office in England, Wales or Northern Ireland please continue to complete the form below.
To be eligible for ECA membership your business must:
- Have been actively trading for a minimum of 12 months
- Have a turnover of £30,000 or more per annum
- Have a recognised technical certification (e.g. from NICIEC, SSAIB, BAFE, NSI, BSI)
- Have a minimum of £2m public liability
- Have Employer's liability insurance
- Have a Health & Safety Policy

As part of your application, you will need to upload copies of the following documents:
- A copy of your most recent Audited / Certificated Accounts (with Profit / Loss Trading Account – Balance Sheet) (must be less than 18 months old)
- A Copy of your current NICEIC / BSI / BAFE / SSAIB Assessment
- A Copy of your current SSIP certificate, e.g. CHAS, SMAS (if applicable)
- Copies of the qualifications of the Electrically Qualified Person (QS) or relevant fire/security qualifications
- A copy of Public & Employer Liability Insurance Certificates (+ Products, PI, etc. if you have them) minimum £2M. For applicants undertaking EICRs, PI insurance is a requirement
- A copy of your current health and safety policy
We will also need to know some information (name, email, phone, date of birth) for key people within your business:

- Qualified Supervisor
- Accounts Contact
