Volunteering in the UK requires you have the right documents, even if you are a UK citizen. We will need to take a copy of your passport before you can begin your volunteering visit.

If you are not a UK or Irish passport holder you will have a limit to the days you can volunteer or undertake paid work while in the UK. The maximum days you can do paid or unpaid on a tourist visa in the UK is 30 actual working days.

Terms and Conditions: Community Life - We ask that all our volunteers follow some basic prinicples of living within a Buddhist community. Namely: not to drink alcohol, take drugs, smoke, vape or eat meat / fish on the premises.

We also ask you not to play musical intruments, and to use headphones if listening to music.

During my visit I agree to comply with the centre rules, particularly relating to supervisors, working hours and my behaviour.

Kadampa Centre Aberdeen reserves the right to end the vountary visit if the above conditions are not met and I accept that I will have to leave the centre if this happens.
