  • CNJG Online Membership Application

    Please complete this online application to begin your CNJG membership. In this application, you will calculate your dues payment, and indicate that amount to CNJG. CNJG will then generate an invoice from which you can make payment. When CNJG receives and processes this application, the membership begins. The membership payment can come within 60 days.

    Any government agency that provides grants to 501(c)(3) organizations are eligible to join.

    Term

    The membership period is January 1 through December 31 of each year. Those joining after July 1 will have their first year dues pro-rated.

    Dues Investment Calculation

    Dues for Government Grantmakers are based on a percentage (0.2%) of the Agency/Division administrative allocation/budget. If the agency does not have an administrative budget, dues will be based on the level of grants made each year (see standard dues structure on the membership application).

  • After submitting this application, CNJG will create an invoice for your organization from which to pay. Payment is accepted by ACH, check, or credit card. Please note, CNJG will add a 3% fee to this credit card purchase.

    The invoice will be e-mailed to the primary contact you designate later in this application.

  • Each month, we email members our CNJG News newsletter, which has information on our members' grants, announcements, personnel changes and more. We like to introduce our new members to the rest of the membership with a short paragraph about who you are and what you fund.

    Sample:

    The Stone Foundation of New Jersey is a small family foundation established in 2002. Its mission is to make grants to non-profits in the areas of environmental protection, social justice, education, and the arts with a focus on New Jersey particularly Monmouth County. The Foundation also makes grants to organizations beyond New Jersey which are of particular interest to its board members. Grants are no more than $25,000 and most grants are considerably smaller.
