THE CLASSIC CHARITABLE FOUNDATION (CCF) BENEFICIARY GUIDELINES

1. Beneficiary must benefit organizations in our regional community: The charity must provide services to address the medical, community, and/or art needs of the area.

2. Beneficiary must be a recognized charitable organization: A 990 Form/Financial Statement for the most recent calendar/fiscal year must be attached and you must be in good standing with the Secretary of State.

3. Beneficiaries are chosen by a Committee: Each year the Beneficiaries will be selected by the Classic Charitable Board upon recommendation of the Beneficiary Selection Committee. The Board will determine the distribution amounts after assessing the results of the final income and expenses report. Funds are not always evenly distributed.

4. Beneficiaries will be chosen annually: The Beneficiary Selection Committee will evaluate each questionnaire submitted by the charities and make their recommendations to the Board prior to or at the November Board meeting for the next year. The Beneficiary Selection Committee may request to meet, hear, or ask for additional information at any time from the potential beneficiary.

5. To be considered as a Beneficiary, a charitable organization may apply to the Foundation during our open application process in October of each year. The Questionnaire can be accessed on the Art on the Border website at artontheborder.com. The Questionnaire will provide us information to understand the agency’s work, needs, and potential involvement with the event. The deadline to return the Questionnaire is November 3, 2025.

6. A Beneficiary can be selected for no more than three consecutive years. They may can reapply after sitting out one year.

7. Distribution is to be made within 90 days after the event.

9. Does the agency have specific projects/programs that could benefit from Art on the Border funds? Do these projects/programs increase your client's quality of life through activities?*
