MEMBERSHIP

Includes Suncoast Spinners Wheelchair Basketball & Wheelchair Rugby Programs delivered at USC stadium , Morayfield Stadium, and Murgon PCYC.

In 2025 Suncoast Spinners all-inclusive membership fee will remain at $100 per Individual member, family rates available. The membership fee will entitle members to participate in all Suncoast Spinners regular programs in wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby with no additional game fees.

Suncoast spinners aim for social sport access to be as affordable as possible, with membership fees covering all costs of participation for the coming calendar year.

In 2025, Membership funds will enable sustainability of Suncoast Spinners programs so there will be a one off Membership fee enabling access to all programmes with no additional costs.

Membership is valid upon payment and approval by the management committee from the 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2025.

FEE's

Individual membership: $100.00

Discounted fee for Families

1st family member $100

2nd  family member $50

and $25  for each additional family member over the age of 12. Children Under the age of 12 years old are included free with a paying parent/guardian. For example a family of 4 all over the age of 12 from the same household $200.

Regular programs include:

Dance to Move - USC stadium - Tuesday

Kids Club - USC stadium - Wednesday

Wheelchair Basketball - USC stadium - Wednesday

Wheelchair Rugby - USC stadium - Thursday

Wheelchair Basketball - Morayfield stadium -Friday

Wheelchair Basketball - Murgon PCYC - Saturday

Additional fees will apply for Wheelchair sports events and Tournaments held in addition to the regular programming.

Unpaid fees will incur an administration fee of $50 where attendance has been recorded and will be invoiced at the end of the year.

Members attending Suncoast Spinners programs with a Support Companion, and in the instance that the Companion participates in training and games, the Companion details must be registered below.

Companion attending with a registered Paid In Full Suncoast Spinners member may participate free of charge with a valid companion card in the name of the registered member.

Before you arrive

Suncoast Spinners 2025 Membership required
Ensure all family & carers attending register online
Plan your arrival at the stadium 15 minutes before session
Be ready to play prior to arriving
Limit your belongings to essential items only
Bring a water bottle

Personal injury insurance is not included in Membership or the Games Fee. All participants should organise appropriate insurance relative to their sport and individual circumstances.

All non-Queensland residents that use the Queensland Ambulance Service will be invoiced for the service. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they are covered for this expense via their own state’s ambulance membership, private health insurance or travel insurance.

Code of Conduct

As a participant at the 2025 Suncoast Spinners Wheelchair Basketball Program, I agree to each of the following expectations below:

I will abide by the rules of the Club.
I will display good sportsmanship and respect for all other participants.
I will respect the efforts and decisions of the referees and scorebench officials.
I will respect the efforts and decisions of Suncoast Spinners staff and volunteers, including the Coach.
I will raise any concerns I have with Suncoast Spinners staff in a respectful and constructive manner.
I understand that not fulfilling any of the expectations above could result in my suspension or expulsion from the program.
All participants agree to the Basketball Australia players Code of Conduct. Any breach of this Code will result in expulsion from the program.
I agree that I am physically fit and able to participate in the program.
RELATIONSHIP TO YOU*
Acceptance is not guaranteed, all applications will be assessed by the management committee and the applicant will be advised on the outcome following the next committee meeting after the application is submitted.

INFORMATION for APPLICANTS

If your application is accepted, your name and address, as provided above, must be recorded in a register of members and be made available to other members, upon request, under section 27 of the Associations Incorporation Act.

However, the management committee may, on the application of a member of the association, withhold information about the member (other than the member’s full name) from the register available for inspection if the management committee has reasonable grounds for believing the disclosure of the information would put the member at risk of harm.
