2024 Dead Animal Removal Reimbursement Application
This program is offered by the Fayette County Conservation District to reimburse up to $150.00 per animal of the cost associated with the removal of deceased livestock through the service of a state certified facility. This program is intended to encourage proper disposal and prevent eutrophication-where runoff from improper disposal could lead to excess pathogens entering ground and surface water.
Eligibility and Requirements:
- Pickup or self-delivery must be to one of the following state certified dead animal removal companies, Conboy Enterprises or Large Animal Composting of Kentucky.
- Pick up or drop off must be in Fayette County.
- Invoice(s) showing paid in full or receipt(s) are required for reimbursement.
- Receipts and invoices must be submitted within 60 days after invoice date.
