Description: The workshop titled, “Unfiltered: Story Making Workshops presented by Books & Bagels” aims to assist everyday community members in fostering a reflective personal documentation writing practice. The six classes will provide a tailored- reflective guided writing course, taking a look at rich mentor text and effective writing tools. With classes covering Identity, Quieting Your Inner Critic, Documenting for Remembering, Refining Your Work, Purpose of the Pen the workshops, the focus will be to empower each participant with the necessary tools to document and convey their own story, reflective of their own voice in a personal essay.
