  • Hinged Bi-Fold

    Bi-fold shutter doors are part of a shutter system that hinges together multiple shutter panels so they can fold in a concertina-like manner. Here’s our explanation of how bi-fold shutter doors work:

    Hinged shutter panels: The bi-fold shutter system consists of individual shutter panels that are hinged together. Each panel typically consists of a frame and adjustable louvres or solid panels (or a mix of both). The number of panels used depends on the width of the opening and the desired configuration.


    Top track: In most cases, bi-fold shutter doors hang from aluminium tracks placed at the top of the door recess instead of being hinged on each side. This allows the shutters to remain carefully supported as well as letting them open correctly, smoothly, and with ease. The shutters are fitted with small wheels which run along the inside of the track to move from side to side. The shutters can be designed to fold to the left or right, or they can be split centrally for folding to each side.

  • Pivoted Bi-Fold

    The panels are connected by hinges, allowing them to pivot and fold as they move along the top track. The folding motion enables the panels to stack neatly against each other when fully opened. Each panel typically consists of a frame and adjustable louvers. The number of panels used depends on the width of the opening and the desired configuration.  The shutters can be designed to fold to the left or right, or they can be split centrally for folding to each side. Pivot shutters can also be locked into the bottom of the floor.

  • Bahama Friction Hinge-

    A panel that swings out from the bottom using a multi-armed friction style hinge.  The angle of the opening and specific hinge used will be based on the weight of each panel. Available angles of 20, 44, 55 and 77 degrees are based on these weights. (most panels will be able to go). Use of a friction hinge allows for a smooth and consistant movement thatstays in place without the use of gas struts or telescoping arms. Typically the adjustment of the pitch can be done in the field.

  • Fixed Panel Shutter

    Fixed Panels are the easiest way to build a permanent wall with adjustable light and adjustable privacy.  Shutters panels are fixed into place and do not swing out. Fixed panel shutters offer the simplest form of installation and operation. This product allows you to create a private space or room without peering eyes from the neighbors or purley as a decorative feature in your patio. 

  • What Type of Louver/Blade would you like?

    Do you need the blade to move and lock into place-Choose Operate If you don't then Choose-Louvers that are fixed in the frame. Watch the video below.

  • Aluminium shutters may be used for a variety of reasons: visibility and airflow, controlling the amount of sunlight that enters a room, privacy, security and the ability to enhance the aesthetics of a building or terrace access adding to practicality and mood of any interior or exterior area. The Louvres can be adjustable or fixed within the shutter frame. It's a matter of application and choice.
