What is a Meal Ticket and How Does It Work?
A meal ticket is a voucher used by approved FAM staff, volunteers, and collaborators from select programs to be used at participating food trucks. These meal tickets are typically reserved for our annual programs.
If you have questions or need assistance during the event, a FAM team member will be available on site.
Here’s how it works:
- Eligible individuals will present a physical meal ticket at the food truck when ordering.
- The food truck staff will collect one ticket per meal served.
- Each ticket represents one covered meal—no additional payment is required from the individual.
- FAM staff will pay the food truck at the end of the event based on the number of collected tickets.
- Food truck vendors must retain all collected tickets for reconciliation and payment
