NZIPP TRAINING in PSYCHOANALYTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY - 2025
APPLICATION PROCESS

The application prcoess for NZIPP Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy includes submitting the application and all the required documents, as described below, and attending two personal interviews, if considered eligible.
Please complete the application form and submit the following documents to training@psychotherapy.co.nz
- Curriculum Vitae/Resume
- Professional registration
- Personal Statement (no more than 1,000 words) describing the development of your interest in psychoanalysis/psychoanalytic psychotherapy, the application of psychoanalytic concepts in your work, your previous experiences with psychoanalysis/psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and your plans for the future with regard to psychoanalytic psychotherapy;
- 2 Letters of reference from referees having direct knowledge of your work/experience, including the following information:
1. Position with regard to the applicant
2. The nature of the relationship with the applicant
3. A comment on the quality of the applicant's participation in work or training
4. A comment on the quality of the applicant's clinical work, if applicable
5. Impression of the applicant's capacity to participate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training
NZIPP can decide to contact referees, if deemed appropriate.

Two personal interviews will be conducted with all eligible applicants.

A third interview can be offered, if deemed appropriate.
