Coaches Code of Conduct
All coaches will have a Background Check completed prior to coaching.
1. Respect for All Participants: Treat players, officials, opponents, and spectators with respect. Promote good sportsmanship and fair play.
2. Positive Reinforcement: Encourage players through positive feedback and constructive criticism. Focus on the development of skills and character.
3. Safety First: Prioritize the safety and well-being of players. Ensure that training and competition environments are safe and that players are not pushed beyond their physical limits.
4. Integrity and Honesty: Uphold the highest standards of integrity and honesty. Avoid any form of cheating or dishonest behavior.
5. Equal Opportunity: Provide equal opportunities for all players to participate, regardless of their background or ability.
6. Professional Development: Continuously seek to improve coaching skills and knowledge through education and training.
7. Role Model: Act as a positive role model for players, demonstrating good behavior both on and off the field.
8. Compliance with Rules: Adhere to all rules and regulations of the sport, including league and organizational guidelines.
9. Communication: Maintain open and honest communication with players, parents, and other coaches. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
10. Commitment: Show dedication and commitment to the team, attending all practices, games, and meetings punctually.
This code of conduct helps ensure that coaches create a positive and respectful environment for everyone involved in the sport.
