George Paton Gallery: Call for Proposals 2025
The George Paton Gallery, part of the University of Melbourne’s Student Union, has been a vital space for contemporary art in Australia since the 1970s. As a gallery known for fostering experimentation and innovation, it has provided a platform for emerging artists, curators, and writers, contributing to the careers of some of Australia’s most renowned creatives. We invite you to submit your proposal for an exhibition at the George Paton Gallery. Your proposal will be reviewed by a selection panel consisting of current students, industry professionals, and faculty members, ensuring a diverse range of perspectives in the decision-making process. We look forward to seeing how your project contributes to the vibrant, progressive tradition of the George Paton Gallery.
