      The registration deadline is Monday October 21, 2024. Check to see if you’re registered at the link below. If you’re not, come back to this page to get started.
    • REGISTER TO VOTE BY OCT 21

      • View the sample registration form as you fill yours out
      • If you live on campus, use 500 College Ave, Swarthmore PA 19081 (and include your Dorm Name in the in the second address line) as your Home Address.
      • Then check "I get my mail at a different address from the one above" and use 500 College Ave, <'Grad Year>, Swarthmore PA 19081 (without your Dorm Name) as your mailing address.
      • If you live in Strath Haven, use 801 Yale Avenue, Swarthmore PA 19081 (NOT including your Room #) as both your Home Address and your Mailing Address.

      2. CONFIRM POLLING PLACE
        • If you live on campus, your polling location is within easy walking distance, but varies by dorm.
        • If you live off campus, find your polling place.
      3. VOTE ON ELECTION DAY
        • Voter ID
          Make sure you bring your College ID with you the first time you vote.
        • Vote Early in the Day
          The polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm. Prepare to arrive as early in the day as possible and be prepared to wait in line during busy times.
          If you are in line when the polls close, stay in line. Anyone in line must be allowed to vote by law.

      • Vote Early at the Board of Elections office before Friday, Oct 29, 2024 by personal early ballot.
      • Check this website first to make sure the ballots are ready for your county.
      • If you visit before Monday Oct 21, 2024, some counties allow you to register in the single visit. Contact your county to find out if that is possible.
      1. Fill out your ballot in person at the elections office.
      2. Put your voted ballot inside the yellow secrecy envelope.
      3. Put the sealed yellow secrecy envelope inside the outer return envelope.
      4. Sign and date the Declaration on outer return envelope.
      5. Hand the ballot to an elections official.
      1. You have the right to vote from study abroad or out of state location in every election.
      2. Visit Vote from Abroad to vote from abroad or overseas and have your vote count in Pennsylvania. Don't hesitate to use the chat icon at the bottom of their page for live help.
      3. Active-duty military and military families stationed anywhere in the US or abroad should visit FVAP.GOV to get your military ballot.

      2. Request absentee ballot by Tuesday Oct 15, 2024.
        Your ballot will arrive at your mailing address so check your box frequently and fill it out as soon as it arrives.

      2. Mail your ballot by Tue October 22.
        Your ballot must be received by Tuesday Nov 5, 2024 at 8:00 pm in order to be counted.
