Shop With A Cop 2024

The Port St. Lucie Police Department welcomes the opportunity to work with families throughout our community to ensure a happy holiday season for all.

Shop With A Cop is just one of the many ways we strive to strengthen our community outreach to as many families as possible. Our department's vision is to create a positive opportunity for the children of Port St. Lucie where they engage with our officers in a meaningful way while officers help them fulfill tangible needs.

Our in person Shop With A Cop program will take place on December 4th and December 11th from 1pm to 5pm. at the US 1 Walmart (10855 S U.S. Hwy 1, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952).

Application Criteria

Only one application per family!
A child between 5 and 17 years old OR a Special Olympic Athlete under the age of 21.
Open to homeschoolers with proof of quarterly grades.
Must maintain good academic standing. and not be a truant from school
Must reside within the city of Port St. Lucie (no county sections).
Parent must show proof of residency (mortgage or rental agreement or electric bill) and Drivers License/Photo ID. You must attach these to the application.
Child and parent must be physically present on the assigned shopping day. (No rescheduling).
Parents must remain on site during the event.
If your child participated previously, they will not be eligible to participate this year (this allows the opportunity for other children to participate and interact with their local police officers)
Applications can not be submitted in person.

This event has been organized by the Port St Lucie Police Department (PSLPD)
