This application will take about 15-20 minutes to complete. As part of the process you will need to upload a copy of the inside page of your passport, a copy of both sides of your health insurance card. If you do not have a passport or if your passport will expire prior to December 15, 2025 you must apply for one now. It can take up to 16 weeks to get a new one and we need this information as quickly as possible.
You will receive a link to the medical form which needs to be completed by a physician not related to you. It can returned via US mail (5890 S Pine Island Road, Davie, Fl 33328) or via email (mol@jewishbroward.org)
Upon receipt of this application a personal interview will be scheduled as soon as possible. A Staff/Adult Calendar of sessions will be emailed in order for you to check to be sure you are able to attend all our pre March sessions.
Upon acceptance, we will need 2 legal size passport pictures.
STAFF POSITIONS:
MADRICH(A) – STAFF MEMBER – You have a background in education, either formal or informal, and/or you have worked with teens and have a wonderful rapport with them. You will be asked to teach, counsel, and advise a group of teens and work directly with a Bus Captain.
MEDICAL STAFF – You are a licensed physician, nurse practitioner, physician’s assistant, or registered nurse experienced in dealing with teens. You are qualified to deal with and treat emergencies. The nurse will provide care under the direction of the physician(s). The medical staff will be responsible for the medical care of a group of buses, including teens and adults, and may have to miss some group activities.
SURVIVOR LIAISON – Preferably, you have participated in the March of the Living previously and would like to return to help our survivors during this experience which often times can be difficult for them as they age. You have an affinity for working with older adults and understand you may miss some group activities.
ADULTS ACCOMPANYING THE TEENS – You are coming on this trip to help with the teens at various levels, and to witness how this experience allows the teens to grow as proud and dedicated Jews. You may be a parent of one of the teens or not. You will be asked to participate fully in the program, attending all sessions, both for teens and adults, and be given responsibilities with the teens. You will be required to follow the rules and regulations to which the teens must conform. It should be noted that this is not a "family experience". Additional information will be available at the interview.
As a reminder, staff and accompanying adults pay a fee which will be discussed at your interview
