I hold the appropriate authority to give permission for iDeaL to retrieve student details from your SMS.

If you have an Edge/Helix SMS, you are able to enable your SMS by checking the following box in your School Setting page. Please go ahead and do this, we’ll receive an automatic notification advising your SMS classes are able to be linked.

If you have an eTAP SMS, we’ll contact their Team directly to enable your SMS for the API to be linked.

We will be in touch when your school’s SMS and iDeaL have been linked. Once linked teachers will no longer need to add students to iDeaL when a new student starts at your school. The API connection can be turned off or suspended at any time, you will just need to let our team know via email.
