* LOCATION: Karrie is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at Blackbird Electric Tattoo 102, 1118 12 Ave SW. Karrie has been tattooing since 2000. She specializes in fine line, etching, dotwork, black work and black and grey.

*AVAILABILTY FOR TATTOOS: Karrie has a flexible schedule and can tattoo all weekdays and Saturdays, from 1130am-5pm.

*DEPOSIT: Once your request has been accepted a deposit of $150-$250 is required to book the appointment. Deposits are non refundable, and non transferable. Should you not give a minimum 72 hours notice to move, or cancel your appointment your deposit will be forefit, and a new deposit will be required to rebook your appointment. Deposit can be emailed to karrie@blackbirdelectric.com. If you require an alternative payment method please ask.

*RATES: Karrie charges a flat rate for tattoos completed in one session. This is based on size, detail, location on the body, and time to complete. Please as for a quote.
Karrie charges an hourly rate plus tax (5%) for tattoos completed in more than one session. Karrie accepts cash and e-transfers. Apple Pay, Google pay, debit and credit cards with a service fee. You can also buy now and pay later with Affirm or Klarna.

*CUSTOM DESIGNS: All designs are done chronologically and will be shown to you no more than a few days before your appointment, unless otherwise discussed. Please do not send reminders to see artwork. If excessive changes to layouts are needed, or a total departure from an original tattoo idea occurs, it will be subject to additional fees for drawing time at Karrie's discretion. All designs produced by Karrie remain her intellectual property and may be reused for any purpose at her discretion.

*PHOTOS: The completion of the tattoo will include a photograph of you. By agreeing, you grant the unrestricted right for all promotional or editorial purposes.

*THINGS TO KNOW: please come to your appointment alone (no spectators) unless previously discussed. Please keep children at home. The studio is a shared space so please keep noise to a minimum, do not talk on the phone or watch videos on your phone, and please save private conversations for another time. Come freshly washed and clean. You're welcome to bring a drink and a snack, indoor shoes or slippers, and any other small item that keeps you comfortable if needed.
