Thank you for your interest in applying for Pacific Opera Studio's 2025 Young Artist Program, which is provided on a scholarship basis to successful applicants.

Singers
In 2025, we are looking for 8 - 10 exceptional, committed and reliable singers to join our Young Artist Program. For 2025 we are developing a robust program designed to develop and challenge our succesful applicants. 

The program will consist of concerts, masterclasses with leading international and Australian artists, an oratorio and the opportunity to learn a role and perform in our two staged 'Pocket Operas'.

Repetiteur
We are very excited to be opening a brand new position for a repetiteur. We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented repetiteur to join our program as a young artist. The repetiteur will receive coaching and support from world class artists and the opportunity to develop their skills by playing for concerts, rehearsals and major events.

In 2025 we are also pleased to offer each Young Artist a $5,000 support scholarship.

Please note that applications close at Midnight on November 24th 2024.

Live auditions will take place in Sydney on December 1st.

Applying as a Singer
Please list three contrasting arias below. On the day of your audition the you will choose one aria to perform and the panel will choose another.

You will be given the opportunity to contact our audition pianist in the lead up to the audition to organise a rehearsal at the pianist's discretion. 

Please upload PDF versions of your arias below and also bring physical copies of your arias on the day of the audition.

Applying as a Repetiteur

We are very excited to be adding a repetiteur position to Pacific Opera Studio's 2025 program.

Upon completion of your application form you will be emailed the relevant sections of music for each of these excerpts.

These excerpts will be performed to the panel without singers but a member of the pabel will conduct your playing.
