First aid kit is located in the site bag which will be placed on the brown table next to the entrance to the hall throughout the session. When the session is over, it is kept in the small kitchen.
The key fob for the school gates, the key for the knife box, the tablet, walkies and all chargers are kept in the site bag/crates in the small kitchen.
Set up includes a craft table, snack tables, quiet area with teddies, books and small world and construction toys, a den building area and space to run around.
One member of staff will collect children from each year group at 3.15pm and bring them to the hall. Years 4,5,6 are on the top playground. Each year group has a dedicated table/bench to put their bags along the left hand side and back wall of the hall. The children will line up for snack as soon as they come in, wash hands, eat snack sitting down and then wash up their plates. Once enough children have finished snack, at least one member of staff will take children to the top playground. Once a super pirate is up there, children are allowed to walk to the top playground themselves as long as they tell an adult where they are going and staff communicate this on the walkie talkies. Meanwhile the staff inside will pack away snack and clean tables once all children have finished. The shift leader will open up the bottom playground and get ready to sign out at the gate. At 5.30pm everyone will take part in a group tidy.
