BRIDGE PROJECT AUDITION FOR DAEZHANE DAY’S NEW WORK
Emerging Local Dance Artist DaeZhane Day is holding an audition to be part of their new 20 minute work in Bridge Project 2025. DaeZhane Day is a California native whose work derives from their childhood memories and experience growing up in the Bay area alongside their strong interconnection to Hip Hop and Contemporary styles. They are looking for dancers interested in storytelling through movement, voice, and digital mediums, while infusing styles like hip hop and contemporary fusions. Dae is looking to learn how both of these motifs can communicate and inform one another through writing, memory, and improvising. Incorporating all of these aspects together, Dae wants to find 4 dancers total, 3 female identifying dancers and 1 male identifying dancer — People of Color are to be prioritized and encouraged to attend.
