We had a very successful bandshell season for 2024 with a variety of bands – some familiar, some new. Your input from last year’s survey was helpful in putting together this line-up. We would appreciate your participation again to rate the bands for 2024 in order for LACF to deliver another great season of music.
Prior to taking the survey, please review some facts regarding the foundation. Thank you for your support and we look forward to receiving your survey. Please limit one survey for each family and/or household.
1. LACF mission reads as follows: Lake Almanor Community Foundation, a California corporation with a 501c3 designation, mission is to seek/raise monies and/or in-kind services and donations to distribute to charitable organizations, recreational/cultural activities and be a conduit for other organizations without 501c3 status that are based and benefit the needs of the Greater Lake Almanor Basin.
2. LACF is a separate entity from LACC. No monies are taken or used from members' dues to support the bandshell or mission of LACF. LACC pays for all costs associated with hiring bands as well as maintenance, security and licensing, which includes the clubhouse music programs and dances.
3. Concerts are paid by LACF through monies raised from mailing campaign, raffle ticket sales and gate fees. Without these, we could not afford to host these concerts.
4. LACF activities are not limited to the bandshell. Some examples: campaign for Emergency Broadcast System, funded emergency-to-go kits for underserved from a grant, support organizations such as Chester Chorus, LAAC, TAF, high school sports programs, food pantry, PAWS, etc.
5. LACF is operated by all volunteers except for band coordinator, raffle coordinator and audio engineer.
