We are looking for local music acts, spoken word artists, djs and community groups to take to the stage to give our visitors and local audience a massive Dumfries & Galloway welcome.
We will be curating across free stages and venues between 17th Jan and 2nd Feb. As part of our support to artists we offer a flat fee of £50 towards each act for their expenses as well as guest passes to the festival club and either 2 drinks tokens per person or soft drinks tokens. All our set times are 30-45 minutes unless otherwise stated. Our DJ sets are likely to be a bit longer.
If you are in a group that is larger than 8, we would limit the passes to this amount.
We are programming 20 different acts accross the three weeks, as well as 10 acts in the build up to the festival in our community hubs.
All of our events will be free to view and will be in a variety of different spaces, including the festival club and a new outdoor stage at Queensbery Square.
If you have any questions during this period, please email us programming@bigburnssupper.com
Our applications for submissions opens on 12th October and closes on the 20th October at midnight.
