But First We Dance: Financial Hardship Application
“But First We Dance” is a 501c(3) dedicated to giving those who have a desire to dance an opportunity to cultivate their skills of confidence, self-expression and dedication through scholarships.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to dance despite family background and financial inabilities. We are honored to offer scholarships to those that meet the financial hardship requirements and are at
least 5 years of age.

Requirements to Apply:

1. Letter of recommendation from a teacher
2. Application completed
3. Video, if under 10 OR essay, if over 10 of “why” you love to dance

If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be required to attend all classes at the studio of your choice, a scholarship can be revoked if attendance is not met per the individual studios policy.
