Terms and Conditions
By placing an order, the customer agrees to adhere to the policies outlined below.
Cake order policy:
All cake orders require a minimum of one week notice. A $15 fee will be added to last minute orders placed within the same week.
A nonrefundable booking fee of $30 is required upon ordering to reserve the pickup date. This fee counts toward the total order balance.
You will be contacted within 1-3 days of ordering to go over cake details, booking policy, and to follow up with any questions. If necessary, please try to respond within 24 hours to further the process of your order.
If you wish to have your order delivered, I must first approve the delivery address. I offer delivery within 30 miles at a rate of $1.10/mile round trip.
Refund policy:
Scheduling fees are nonrefundable.
If an order is paid in full but needs to be canceled at least 7 days before the pickup date, the amount paid, minus the scheduling fee, will be refunded.
If an order is paid in full but needs to be canceled less than 7 days (but not within 3 days) before the pickup date, only 50% of the amount paid, minus the scheduling fee, will be refunded.
Refunds will reflect onto your account in about 2 to 7 business days.
No refunds or cancellations are available within 3 days of the pickup date.
No returns, exchanges, or refunds once the cake is received by the customer.
Payment policy:
All payments are securely processed through Square.
All orders will have a 3.3% service charge.
Cake orders must be paid in full

Liability policy:
Once an order is picked up or delivered, it is the responsibility of the customer to handle and store it properly. I am not responsible for any orders once they have been delivered.
Please note that products used may contain common allergens, such as nuts, dairy, gluten, etc. Customers with specific dietary restrictions are advised to inquire about food allergens before placing an order.
The Bake Angel is not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues caused by consuming their products.
Cake care:
Never hold the cake box from the sides and always carry it from the bottom.
When driving with your cake, ensure that it is placed on a flat surface where the box will not move. It is recommended to travel with it on the car floor board.
Ensure the air conditioning in your car is on to prevent the cake from melting.
Keep your cake refrigerated until 1-2 hours prior to serving.
Never leave the cake exposed to direct sunlight for an extended period of time. Cakes can begin melting quickly in hot weather.
Your cake will stay fresh for up to 4 days, and 2-3 days if it contains a fresh fruit filling.
Cakes may be frozen for up to 2 weeks.
