  • The Horowitz Events Centre books several special event venues, as well as a Meeting Centre with multiple rooms seating 10 to 180 people. Please see our website for more information on the capacity and capabilities of each space.

    Student Groups can now book rooms in our Student Group Flex Space, which are designed for small general meetings, executive team meetings, interviews or other work related functions for the group.

  • Please note that the Horowitz Events Centre is the exclusive provider of catering, bar service, and online ticketing in our spaces.

  • Tell us about your A/V requirements

  • All SUB Meeting Centre rooms are equipped with projectors and sound systems. Wireless screen sharing is available, but we recommend bringing your own HDMI to connect to the system in case the device does not connect wirelessly.

  • Tell us about your catering requirements

  • Catering in our spaces is exclusively provided by Horowitz Events Centre Catering. Ask your Coordinator for an estimate. Click here to see our current menus.

  • Tell us about your bar service requirements

  • All bar serivce in our spaces is provided by the Horowitz Events Centre, and your Coordinator can provide you with a quote.

  • Tell us about your tickets

  • Online ticketing for events in our spaces will be managed by the Horowitz Events Centre, and will run through ShowClix. Ask your Coordinator for more details.

  • How would you like to pay?

    We don't require payment until you're ready to confirm your event, but if you know how you will be paying please let us know here.
  • More information on this payment type will be provided when our Coordinators reach out to get more info regarding your event.

  • If you already know the speedcode information for this event, please provide it here. If not, our Coordinators will ask for this information during the process of confirming your event.

    Please note that our agreement with the University requires us to submit a 492 or 248 phone number with all speedcode invoices, as well as list the department with authority to use that code. Please ensure information is correct when confirming your booking.

  • Contracts & insurance

    • If a contract is required to confirm your booking, it will be sent via Dropbox Sign
    • A deposit may be required to confirm your booking
    • The total payment for the event must be received prior to the event, unless the Horowitz Events Centre is managing the ticket sales
    • Proof of insurance is required at least seven days prior to the event

    • Finalize audio/visual requirements with our team
    • Confirm the event timeline to ensure smooth execution
    • Provide us with updated attendance numbers
    • If catering the event, please inform us of any dietaries or allergies
    • Provide us with your proof of insurance 

    After your event has finished

    • Any balance discrepancies will be addressed post-event
