  • Speaking Peace Series - February 12th

How can we put our faith into practice? Join us for our Speaking Peace series as we hear from people working The Peace within our community. We will explore ways we can live out the call to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves.
  • Thursday, February 12th, St. John welcomes Lauren Fisher, Director of Development and Campaigns for Lighthouse for a peace talk about sharing hope with those who are struggling in North Oakland County and the legacy of the larger church in supporting these efforts.

Lighthouse was established in 2019 through the merger of Lighthouse of Oakland County and South Oakland Shelter, providing aid to families seeking the most basic of needs, including food and shelter. Through partnerships with individuals, families, and organizations, Lighthouse is working to build equitable communities that alleviate poverty.

The evening will begin at 6PM with a light supper. The presentation will be followed by Q&A.

Child care can be provided on request.

Registration is not required, but greatly appreciated. Please use the form below.

A free-will offering will be collected.

Please contact the church office with any questions.
