Becoming the Registered Contact

Before you can make any changes to your own or your child's Child Trust Fund (CTF), and before we can sign you up for Client Web Access (CWA) we need to ensure you agree to our Terms and Conditions and you have read our 'Registering for your CTF' article, which details the process. You should also familiarise yourself with our Privacy Policy.

What You Need

To use this service, you need to have the following information:

• Name, Date of Birth, and Postal Address details;
• HMRC Unique Reference Number (URN), National Insurance (NI) Number, or Pilling Account Number;
• Email Address.
  

If you don't know the URN or NI Number these can be requested from HMRC using the free HMRC CTF Finder Tool.

Declaration

By continuing you agree to the following statement.

I declare that:

• I am 16 years of age or over;
• I am the child / I have parental responsibility for the child;
• I will be the registered contact for the CTF.

Authorisation

By continuing you agree to the following statement.

I authorise Pilling & Co to:

• Hold the HM Revenue & Customs contributions, subscriptions, CTF investments, interest, dividends and any other rights of proceeds in respect of those investments and cash, and;
• Make on the child's behalf any claims to relief from tax in respect of CTF investments.
