Deed Research
(Optional add-on service) Homeowners may do their own research, but if you are unsure of the year your home was built, a Friends volunteer can go to the Record Room at the Cape May County Clerk's office to research your deeds. They will provide their findings such as the original home or landowner’s name and a circa date. They do not provide copies of the deeds. This service is not required to purchase a plaque.
