At Liquid Amber Tattoo & Art Collective, we’re excited to offer SHADOW SESSIONS—an opportunity for tattoo artists eager to refine their skills and expand their knowledge. These immersive sessions are led by Justina Kervel, an award-winning tattoo artist with 25 years of experience and a dedicated mentor to 13 apprentices, and Ashley Horncastle, a seasoned artist with 12 years of expertise across a range of styles, including neotraditional and realism. Justina and Ashley’s keen eye for design and deep understanding of the tattooing process ensure a truly enriching learning experience.
What to Expect:

These SHADOW SESSIONS are tailored to help you refine your technique, receive personalized feedback, and focus on specific tattoo styles you want to master. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, learn advanced techniques, and gain insights from a seasoned professional in the industry.

Private Session Details:

Each session is personalized based on your current level of experience and learning objectives. Justina and Ashley will assess whose expertise aligns with your goals, and if it’s a good match, we’ll reach out to discuss the best session format to fit your needs.

Sessions may include:
- Shadowing Justina or Ashley during a tattoo session focused on a specific style
- A one-on-one session for feedback on your art, technique, or process
- Guided tattooing with either fake skin or a client of your choice

- Shadow sessions are charged at the artist's rate: $200-$250/hr
