LeadUS Mentoring Program 2015-16

The Herfsmark (autumn market in English) is hosted by NG Kerk Parow-Welgelegen.
Lying in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, the area has easy access to some of the mother city's major tributaries - the N7 and N1 - placing Welgelegen in an effortlessly reachable position. We have 16 years’ experience in hosting markets, and we pride ourselves in being well organised and professional in our approach. It is our ethos to create a welcoming market environment for both vendors and clients alike.

The Herfsmark has a central pay station to manage sales, and we accept card and SnapScan payments. Vendors have access to our reporting system to monitor their daily sales.

The 2026 market will be bigger, better and more exciting than before and you are invited to take part in the success and joy of it all.

- The closing date for applications will be 6 February 2026 at 20:00.
- Should we be interested in your product, the team may request you to present your items in person.
- Products must be good quality, reasonably priced and attractively presented.
- Product prices should be rounded up to the nearest rand value.
- Food products must have a detailed label with ingredients, allergens and expiry date indicated on it. COC's must also be submitted to the Herfsmark team.
- Should your product need to be refrigerated the vendor will be responsible to bring own refrigeration.

I, the undersigned, hereby, exempt the organisers of the Herfsmark from all responsibility in respect of any damage, directly or indirectly, to myself or my products, as a result of theft, breakage, injury, fire, rain, lightning, "vis major, casus fortuitus" or any other cause. If the market is cancelled or postponed due to reasons beyond the organiser's control, the organisers will not be responsible for the loss of any revenue as a result. I also consent to Herfsmark being able to use my information according to the POPI legislation (POPI Act No. 4 of 2013). Information will be used on email and WhatsApp platforms as communication method with vendors before, during and after the market. I have studied this information thoroughly, am fully aware of its contents and undertake to obey the rules.*
