A. BOOTH LAYOUTS OR FLOOR PLANS -MONUMENTS AND MAUSOLEUMS
1) All exhibitors who will display monuments are required to submit a copy of a SCALE DRAWING showing the location of each item in their booth via this form.
2) These drawings must be provided before December 6, 2024.
3) No more than 21.5% (approximately 4 monuments) may be used for display pieces in any single 10’ x10’ booth.
4) Tablets that are 4 or more feet in height and 8 inches thick, or tablets that are 2.5 feet or more in height and 6 inches thick, must be drilled and dowel pins furnished to provide reasonable stability against tipping or falling.
5) If possible, monuments with multiple pieces should come already pinned together to decrease the amount of lifting required.
6) Exhibitors that provide crates that do not meet the guidelines on the following pages or are otherwise not sufficiently substantial to withstand opening and re-crating will be fined by MBNA.
B. SPECIFICATIONS FOR BOOTH LAYOUTS – Note size of each booth is 10' deep x 10' wide. Any monument over 8' tall requires special consent from the Exhibit Committee.
1) Use CAD or standard size GRAPH paper (8½" x 11")
2) Include your entire booth space in a single drawing.
3) Your drawing should specify the following:
a. Company Name
b. Booth Number(s) as assigned by MBNA
c. Scale used- ¼” = 1’
d. The location of each item (unit) in the booth, identified by a letter for the overall unit and a two digit number for each piece of the unit, beginning with 01, 02, 03, etc.
e. Description of each item on layout giving length, width, height, finish, and color of material. Give any special instructions (i.e., die, display piece #11 to be 6" of center to right, etc).
f. Total number of pieces of granite/marble for your booth.
g. When you send the scale drawing of your booth display, you must also send line drawings of each unit in the display. It is important to send the line drawings with the specifications so the monument setters can see what the designs look like.
C. SAMPLE SCALE BOOTH LAYOUT – Please use this sample in preparing your scale booth layout.
D. LINE DRAWING SAMPLE
1) A line drawing must be furnished for each unit displayed Drawing must correspond with unit letter and piece numbers as show on SCALE DRAWING OF BOOTH LAYOUT and should be identified accordingly.
Please attach the LINE DRAWING to the specification (scale drawing) of your booth display.
E. SUBMISSION OF LAYOUTS
All layouts are due on or before December 6, 2024. Please submit them via this form.
