Twelve/Twelve

OPEN CALL for ART!

Established Gallery prides itself on a yearly roster of 1 and 2 person exhibitions, with the exception of one group show per year. For this years group exhibition we are excited to announce Twelve/Twelve, a curated group exhibition that is open nationally to artists of all mediums. Twelve/Twelve will featuring artwork with maximum dimensions of 12 inches (12”) in any direction. We are looking for exciting and original work on a small scale!

Submission Deadline:       November 20th, 2024 (11:59pm)
Exhibition Dates:               December 12th, 2024 - January 12th, 2025
Entry Fee:                           $24 for 3 artwork submissions (non-refundable)

Opening Reception:           12/12/24 6:30-8:30

• acceptable artwork should not exeed 12 inches (12”) in any direction, including any framing.
  
  
• Work must be delivered to Established Gallery (75 6th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11217) Monday, 12/9/2024, or Tuesday 12/10/2024 from 3-8 PM. If work requires shipping, it must arrive to the gallery by 12/10/2024.

• Work must be ready to hang when it arrives. 3-D artwork and video work will be considered (EST Gallery will supply the monitor).

• All accepted work must be for sale. Established Gallery will take a 35% commission on any work sold at the exhibition
• Submission does NOT guarantee acceptance into the exhibition

• Artists will be notified of acceptance on or before 11/25/2025

ABOUT THE CURATOR:

Emily Chiavelli (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based artist and photographer. She works as the Program Director at Arts Gowanus, a community art and advocacy organization. Her work has been exhibited at The Museum of the Moving Image, The International Center of Photography, Foley Gallery, and Carriage Trade Gallery, as well as nationally. She received an MFA from ICP-Bard College in 2020.

As Program Director for Arts Gowanus, Emily has curated and organized countless public art exhibitions, group exhibitions and private art events.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

All submissions must be JPEGs

Submitted artwork cannot exceed 12" in any direction, including the framing or mounting, or video monitors.

Videos cannot exceed 3 minutes. If submitting a video, submit a still image and then please include a link to the video.

JPEG images must be labeled: LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME_TITLE 
example: appleseed_johnny_applepainting1.jpg

Incorrect/incomplete submissions will not be accepted
