2025 BURGMANN PRICE SCHOLARSHIP
CHARLES PRICE ENDOWMENT
Overview
Burgmann College has been awarded with the honor of presenting a scholarship to a deserving resident prior to the start of the academic year, on the behalf of, and in partnership with, the Charles Price Estate.
The Estate is acting in accordance of the wishes of the late Charles Price, who sought to contribute to Burgmann College with the development of future leaders. This scholarship has been generously provided by the Estate of the late Charles Price.
Eligibility
The Burgmann Scholarship Committee will select the recipient of this award from the eligible applicants. The eligible applicants for this scholarship must be
- Regional and/or Indigenous Australians; OR
- Australian residents who are recent or first-generation migrants to Australia;
- must reside at Burgmann College for the duration of the scholarship;
- must be undertaking an academic program at the ANU.
Selection Criteria
The Burgmann Price Scholarship will be awarded to the Burgmann resident based on academic merit, financial need and contribution to the community.
Application Process
Applicants must complete and submit the Burgmann Price Scholarship Application Form in which they should detail information about the course they are undertaking at the ANU, their need for financial support, discuss the applicant's contribution to the community, and how the scholarship would benefit them in the pursuit of their academic and leadership endeavours while at the ANU. In addition, the applicant must provide a one-page reference, either academic or professional, detailing the applicant's character, leadership, ethics, and eligibility. Academic Transcript(s) - must be included in order to weigh the applicants academic merit. Completed applications can be submitted via email or post as follows:
