  • The Miss America Organization requires contestants to choose from talent types on this list: HERE. If a talent type is not on this list, it may not be performed. Contestants are more than welcome to confirm with the Miss Spokane Scholarship Organization.

    Talent performances must be performed solo on stage, must not be more than 90 seconds, and must be approved by the Miss Spokane Scholarship Organization. Suggested talent length is 75-89 seconds. All props require pre-approval by the Miss Spokane Scholarship Organization and are the responsibility of the contestant.

    Contestants may change their talent type after submitting this form.

  • Contestants are required to have a Community Service Interest (CSI). We are here to help you if you have questions or need help deciding which Community Service Interest is right for you. Contestants should pick something they feel passionate about.

  • I grant to the Miss Spokane Scholarship Organization and its representatives the right to take photographs and videos of me and my property. I authorize Miss Spokane Scholarship Organization, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that the Miss Spokane Scholarship Organization may use such photographs or videos of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, advertising, and web content. I understand and agree that I shall have no claim or right to those photographs, tapes and films. I understand and agree that this provision refers to and includes all photographs, tapes and films from any activities relating to the competition, including but not limited to interviews, rehearsals and publicity events, either individually or as a member of a group.

  • AGREEMENT

  • ELIGIBILITY (MISS):

    I meet the standards put forth on the Miss Spokane website and the standards put forth in the Miss America Organization Local Contestant Contract. I have reviewed the 2025 schedule and will be able to attend all events.

    FEES:

    Miss Spokane entry fee is required when submitting entry form.

    1.) $39.99 (per year) Registration fee on the Miss America Organization website (here). This is a requirement from the Miss America Organization.

    2.) $100 Early bird / $150 regular registration fee on the Miss Spokane Organization website (here). Early bird deadline is December 1, 2024. Entry fees are non-refundable.

    3.) $35-$42 (plus tax + shipping) Rebel Atheltic top. The Miss America Organization requires all local contestants to wear a Rebel Athletic top at the local level for the fitness competition. Miss Spokane and Miss Spokane's Teen contestants may choose between the Rebel Tank in red, Longline Sports Bra in red, Longline Racerback Sports Bra in red, or V Neck Sports Bra in red. It is the contestant's responsibility to order her fitness top, making sure that it arrives on time and fits properly prior to the competition. Contestants will pair the top with white tennis shoes and solid black athletic bottoms of their choice (biker/compression shorts, running shorts, golf/tennis skirt, or yoga pants - these do not need to be ordered from Rebel).

    4.) $200 Minimum in program magazine advertisement sales. Contestants are encouraged to approach local businesses and sell advertisement space in our program magazine. The more program magazines sold, the more scholarship we are able to award. There are incentives for the contestants that sell the most advertisements. Program magazine advertisment prices are $150 for half page or $200 for full page. More information can be found in the contestant handbook and on the Miss Spokane Organization website.
